The BNOC, a private non-profit corporation, is dedicated to providing assitance in the form of clothing, food, and social support to all in need throughout the Clear Fork Valley (the general Bellville-Butler area).

The BNOC operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to raise awareness and provide assistance to those in need in the Clear Fork Valley. The BNOC actively supports the entire Clear Fork Valley, which encompasses 110 square miles and is defined by the Clear Fork School District, including the Bellville, Butler, and outlying communities. The primary BNOC location is at 84 Main Street in Bellville which houses the Clothesline, Food Pantry, and Activity Center. The hours of operation at this location are Monday through Friday, 10 A.M. to 4 P.M., and Saturday, 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. A second location at 20 Henry Street in Butler only offers a Food Pantry weekdays from 8 A.M. to noon. Please go to the Contact Us page for further contact information.
The mission of the Bellville Neighborhood Outreach Center (BNOC) is:
To support and enrich the lives of Clear Fork Valley residents by developing and
operating a community service center.
The BNOC Clothesline accepts donations of gently used clothing and offers the same to those in need. Anyone can obtain clothing for a nominal fee or for free if needed. Any revenue generated is used to purchase food which is distributed by the BNOC's Food Pantry. Additionally, each year the Clothesline donates coats and jackets to theCoats for Kids program in Mansfield, Ohio.

The BNOC Food Pantry assists approximately 125 families (350 people) every month, provides approximately 3,150 meals, and distributes more than 100,000 pounds of food, grocery supplements, and miscellaneous personal hygiene items each year. The Food Pantry is funded primarily from grants and private donations. The food is purchased from the Cleveland Food Bank and acquired from local donations. Then it is redistributed to needy families from one of two locations: 84 Main Street in Bellville and 20 Henry Street in Butler.Learn more about hunger across America.

The BNOC Activity Center is scheduled to open in January 2011 and will enable children, adults, and senior citizens to gather in a friendly, safe, and enriching environment. The Activity Center will offer a wide variety of after-school programs, tutoring, and mentoring in various academic areas: physical and mental exercise, cooking classes, and craft classes. In addition, seminars and workshops will be conducted to help with basic life skills such as establishing banking, creating and managing a household budget, how to create a resume, and general assistance with job searches. The goal of the Activity Center is to provide home assistance skills to help others be more self sufficient.
The Bellville Neighborhood Outreach Center is managed by officers and trustees. The officers and trustees are supported by a variety of committees and a group of dedicated volunteers. Our Officers and Board of Trustees consist of the following members:

Jeff, and wife Stacy, are long-time Richland County residents, but decided to call Bellville “home” in 1988. Jeff has served as a business leader for more than 25 years and has served as a Board Trustee for numerous non-profit organizations. Jeff and Stacy worship at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bellville, Ohio and are honored to serve God by supporting the Bellville Neighborhood Outreach Center. As president of the BNOC, Jeff manages the governing board, supports and oversees board affairs, presides over the board meetings, recommends and establishes various sub-committees, recruits volunteers, and acts as the public representative for the Bellville Neighborhood Outreach Center.
Bev, and her husband Roger, are life-long residents of Bellville. Her experience as an executive assistant is valuable to help manage the records for the Bellville Neighborhood Outreach Center. As the secretary of the BNOC, Bev is responsible for taking and distributing the minutes to the officers and trustees. She also manages general correspondence and maintains all BNOC records.

Priscilla is a life-long resident of Bellville and member of Presbyterian Church where she teaches Sunday school, sings in the choir and plays handbells. She has served on several boards of the church, as well as co-chair of the Holiday Bazaar. She has spent most of her working life in the legal field as a secretary and administrative assistant, and is currently with Cassandra J.M. Mayer in the "historic Texaco Station" at First and Main in Mansfield. She is also a 25-year volunteer at the Renaissance Theatre, where she has enjoyed many performances. Currently, Priscilla is the Co-Treasurer of the BNOC and is a member of the Finance Committee. She also helps regularly with the Clothesline and the Food Pantry. Her family and friends occupy the rest of her free time. As the co-treasurer of the BNOC, Priscilla helps to maintain the accounts of the organization.
Sally and her husband, Richard, have three children. Their family moved to the Bellville area from northern Indiana in 1990 due to a relocation of Richard’s job at the phone company. They are active at their church, Bellville Presbyterian Church, and Sally helps with the Food Pantry. As the co-treasurer of the BNOC, Sally helps to maintain the accounts of the organization.

Jim a life-long resident of Bellville. He and his wife, Teresa, have one daughter, Sarah. Jim is a member of the Ankenytown Grace Brethren Church, where he has served in various positions from Sunday school teacher to youth group leader and moderator. In addition, Jim served as a Village Council member for 16 years. Since 1990, Jim has been actively involved in serving the Bellville Planning Commission. He worked at Tappan Company for 24 years and is currently employed by School Specialties Distribution Center in Mansfield, Ohio.

Bill graduated from Bellville H.S. in 1949, and then spent four years in the US Air Force. After returning to civilian life, he spent 53 years in business fields including — consumer finance, construction, and public works. Since 1995, he has been devoted to serving others through his various church activities. His many years of experience have given Bill a wide range of knowledge that enables him to help others.

Mark and his family moved from Worthington to Bellville in 2000. He and his wife Kellie have two sons. Charlie, a TIG welder, is married and lives in Bellville. They have two children: Roland (5) and Mali (1). David is a senior at the University of Akron studying Psychology. Mark retired from J.P. Morgan Chase after a 28-year career where he worked in a variety of finance-oriented roles. He has begun a second career as a Christian Life Coach. Mark and his family worship at St. Paul Lutheran Church and are active in the ministries there.
Ericka lives near Butler with her daughter, Callie, and dogs, Ace and Charlie. She graduated from Clear Fork High School in 1985, North Central State College in 2002 with a degree as a Physical Therapist Asst., and Franklin University in 2009 with a degree in Healthcare Management. She is currently employed by Mohican Sports Medicine as a Physical Therapist Asst. Ericka is a member of North Bend Church of the Brethren, where she serves on the Christian Education Committee and is Treasury of Women’s Fellowship. She is also a member of Butler Lioness Club, where she served as President, Vice President, and Secretary. In her spare time she enjoys reading, walking dogs, and helping others.
Sarah and her husband Tad currently reside in Fredericktown. They are members of Newville Church in Bellville. Sarah previously worked as a program assistant at the Dewald Center in Mansfield and helped her brother out with the youth group he led in Bowling Green. After graduating from BGSU, Sarah has been working as a nurse on the oncology floor at MedCentral Hospital.

Carol was a lifelong Bellville resident until 13 years ago when she and her husband Jim moved to Mansfield. She is a member of the Bellville Presbyterian Church where she currently serves as Deacon. She graduated from Bellville High School and attended Computer training in Cleveland. She was a 48 year employee of MedCentral Health System retiring in July 2009. During her years at the hospital she worked in Data Entry, Computer Operator, and Operations Supervisor and was Data Controller when she retired. She is a member of the Clear Fork Valley Women’s Club and Bellville Alumni Committee.
She and her husband Jim were married just short of 50 years when he passed away in January 2011. They have two sons Craig and Bruce and two grandchildren, Marissa and Dalton. Her husband was one of the original Trustees when the BNOC became a reality and was Trustee on his death. In addition, he helped remodel the BNOC building. Carol became involved with the BNOC also, and became head of the Food Pantry. Recently she took over Operations and maintains all volunteer and On-Call schedules. In July 2011 she was elected as a BNOC trustee.
