This has been a difficult time for everyone.
It’s hard to live in today’s world without being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in some way. Many have lost jobs. Others remain under-employed. And still others are fighting through serious health problems.
We’re releasing this update to let you know that we’re here for you for one of life’s most basic necessities - food - and that we’ll be operating a bit differently at the BNOC to protect both you and our team. Here are some key points regarding our response to the Covid-19 pandemic:
The Clothesline
The clothesline will be closed until further notice.
At this time, we are not currently accepting any clothing donations.
The Pantry
Our pantry will remain open during our normal hours, with limited access.
We will only be allowing one person in the building at a time (for ID verification).
You will then be asked to meet us in the back of the BNOC building, where our volunteer team will bring you a box of assorted pantry items.
We will be taking all necessary precautions regarding the safe operation of the pantry, including regular sanitization of food surfaces and shopping carts.
We wish our entire community the very best in health and safety during this difficult time.
